Gravity Falls is an animated Disney Channel series that aired from 2012 through 2016. The series follows twins Dipper and Mabel who was recently sent to the mysterious town of Gravity Falls to live with their quirky great-uncle Stan. The two of them are tasked with helping Grunkle Stan run his tourist trap, The Mystery Shack. What seems like it’s going to be a dull summer of helping Stan quickly becomes more interesting when these twins realize that there’s something strange going on in Gravity Falls.
Anyone who has seen this series will know that Gravity Falls is much more than a simple kids’ cartoon. Although it’s definitely appealing to the younger audiences, it’s also a lot of fun for adults to watch and the fun plot and unique storylines make the series appealing to people of all ages. Since Gravity Falls ended in 2016, viewers are left with no new episodes in the adventures of Mable and Dipper and are forced to just re-watch their old favorites. Luckily, there are a lot of other shows that are just as fun to watch and would appeal to any Gravity Falls fan.

By rewatching it though, fans are missing out on some new and old shows that are equally as great. Here’s an updated list of shows similar to Gravity Falls that are available to stream.
Ducktales (2017-2021) - Available On Disney+
Ducktales premiered a year after Gravity Falls ended and for many, it filled the void the beloved series left behind. Rebooted from the 80’s cartoon, Ducktales follows Scrooge McDuck and his mischievous grandnephews Huey, Dewey, and Loue who have just moved into McDuck Manor after Scrooge gets awarded custody of the boys.
Full of mischief and fun adventures, Ducktales is the perfect show to fill the void Gravity Falls left behind.
Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure (2017-2021) - Available On Disney+
It was only a matter of time before Disney’s beloved princess Rapunzel got a show of her own. Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure picks up six months after the movie ends and follows Rapunzel as she adjusts to her new royal life.
But things aren’t what they seem and when strange rocks begin appearing, Rapunzel, Eugene, and their friends team up to figure out what is going on in the Kingdom of Corona.
Trollhunters: Tales Of Arcadia (2016-2018) - Available On Netflix
Guillermo del Toro may be known for his Academy Award-nominated monster movies, but he’s also dabbled in the world of kids’ animation with the creation of Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia. The series aired from 2016 to 2018 and followed a group of teenagers as they set out to save two worlds after discovering a magical amulet.
With mystery and fantasy elements and a supportive group of characters, fans of Gravity Falls will fit right in with this show.
Victor And Valentino (2019-) - Available On HBO Max
Cartoon Network has always been home to fun and unique kids’ cartoons and they’ve shown no sign of changing that. Their newest show, Victor and Valentino has become quite a hit, currently in its third season.
Victor and Valentino follows two half-brothers who get into all sorts of supernatural and strange mischief while exploring Monte Macabrew with their grandmothers. The sibling dynamic mixed with the grand adventures is what makes Victor and Valentino perfect for Gravity Falls fans.
Camp Lazlo (2004-2008) - Available On Boomerang
Despite running for 5 seasons and winning 3 Primetime Emmy Awards, Camp Lazlo is one of Cartoon Network’s most forgotten series of the early 2000s. And yet, it’s hilarious and the perfect show for fans of Gravity Falls.
Like Gravity Falls, Camp Lazlo is set over summer vacation and follows a trio of campers as they raise havoc and go on crazy adventures while attending Camp Kidney.
SpongeBob SquarePants (1999-) - Available On Paramount+
There likely isn’t a fan of animation around who hasn’t watched SpongeBob SquarePants at some stage in their life. It’s really one of the innovators for a children’s show that’s also appealing to adults.
While it has many over-the-top and childish elements, there’s plenty of jokes that were clearly designed with an older audience in mind. This classic should be re-watched by old fans and introduced to anyone who needs a little more animation in their life.
Over The Garden Wall (2014) - Available On HBO Max
Over The Garden Wall is a series of cute, short adventures in a fantasy land. A pair of brothers become lost in a stretch of magical woods where anything could happen.

Rick And Morty (2013) - Available On HBO Max
Anyone who is a fan of Justin Roiland’s work in Gravity Falls might want to check out easily one of the most popular animated shows today. It’s fair to say that Rick and Morty certainly isn’t aimed at kids, though.
With plenty of jokes that break the fourth wall and even a lot of meta-commentary on the science fiction genre in general, new viewers are in for a wild ride of twists and turns, with surprisingly deep philosophical messages.
Solar Opposites (2020-) - Available On Hulu
In much the same way, Justin Roiland’s solo venture with Hulu is another take on the sci-fi genre, although this time focusing on aliens trying to fit in on Earth, rather than humans adventuring through the galaxy.
In many ways, some of the character tropes actually take their cues from figures from Gravity Falls, and while Solar Opposites is still in its infancy, it’s fair to say that it will likely grow very quickly.
Phineas And Ferb (2007-2015) - Available On Disney+
The two brothers, Phineas and Ferb, have always been causing chaos with their school friends. Their pet platypus Perry is a secret agent and their sister is always trying to get them into trouble for their mad schemes.
It’s fair to say that this is perhaps one of the closes shows to Gravity Falls in terms of style and plot. It’s completely off the wall in many ways, with the boys going from building a roller-coaster in their garden to singing about aglets. From the songs to the jokes for all ages, this is a classic.
