Here’s every song on the 13 Reasons Why soundtrack for season 3. It’s been over a year since 13 Reasons Why season 2 debuted on Netflix, and now season 3 has brought audiences another confounding yet still captivating story arc surrounding Clay and his group of friends and schoolmates. Of course, a new season of 13 Reasons Why means even more songs for fans to go through, which is something that’s become a core aspect of the show.

While an official 13 Reasons Why soundtrack/album releases with each season, Netflix took the focus on music a step further last year when they released playlists for each character on Spotify. Everyone from Clay and Hannah to Zach and Sheri got their own customized playlists, each one filled with songs that match their personality as well as, presumably, what their characters were going through in season 2. With 13 Reasons Why season 3 now available to stream on Netflix, there are even more songs for fans to sift through.

Since there are 13 episodes in each season of 13 Reasons Why, there are certainly quite a few songs that play throughout each one. Over the past two years, ever since 13 Reasons Why season 1 debuted in 2017, some artists and songs have seen significant boosts in their popularity due to the Netflix series. One such song was “The Night We Met” by Lord Huron, which played during a scene in season 1 in which Clay and Hannah were slow dancing. In due time, another song might become just as popular because of 13 Reasons Why, but that still remains to be seen.

Furthermore, Netflix’s playlists for every 13 Reasons Why character were popular when season 2 debuted in 2018, and given that there are some new characters in season 3, it’s possible the streaming service might make some new music playlists for those newcomers as well as update the existing ones for characters who are still around. While Hannah is no longer on the show, that doesn’t mean things haven’t changed for Clay and Justin - or Alex, for that matter. We’ll just have to wait and see what songs are on the 13 Reasons Why season 4 soundtrack, but for now, fans go go through the above songs, which all play at some point in 13 Reasons Why season 3.
